Our story
Donating with Dignity
Last Option Mission was born from a single visit that changed everything — and a conviction that every child deserves the chance to learn.
How we began
A visit to Kajiado that sparked a mission
In September 2026, one of our founding members travelled to rural Kajiado district in Kenya. What they witnessed there was not poverty in the abstract — it was children, full of potential, being kept away from school by barriers that should never exist.
The struggles those children faced — whether a lack of sanitary supplies, inadequate clothing, or other basic needs — were not insurmountable. They simply required someone willing to act. Last Option Mission was founded that same month with a clear purpose: to remove the obstacles that stand between vulnerable children and their education.
We chose our name deliberately. For too many families, charity is the last option — a last resort when every other door has closed. We believe no child should ever reach that point. By acting early, with dignity and respect, we aim to be the support that keeps doors open.
Our mission
Education is a right, not a privilege
Last Option Mission exists to ensure that no child in rural Kenya is denied access to education due to poverty. We provide essential supplies, support, and advocacy — always with dignity at the centre of everything we do.
Dignity first
Every child and family we serve is treated with the utmost respect. Aid is given without judgment, stigma, or conditions.
Transparency
We publish clear accounts of how every donation is used. Donors deserve to see the direct impact of their generosity.
Community-led
We work alongside local communities in Kajiado, not above them. Solutions are shaped by the people who know the need best.
Education-focused
Everything we do points toward one outcome: children in school, learning, and building futures for themselves and their families.
